Capabilities
Waste site remediation experience extends from feasibility studies and preliminary site characterization through remedial design and its implementation. Our staff has extensive experience in the innovative and cost effective application of bentonite amended soils used in caps and liners and soil mixed containment using either slurry walls, deep soil mixing (DSM) or jetted grout barriers. Mix design for waste stabilization is also a strength of our staff.
IGES specializes in the use of various geosynthetics in our designs to provide cost effective and environmentally responsible solutions.
Capabilities
IGES staff have developed designs for landfill expansions, mine waste management facilities, lined evaporation ponds and industrial site remediation.
