IGES’s team has provided worldwide and nationwide services to the mining and mineral, oil and gas development, refining, manufacturing, and service industries. Our team’s expertise in regulatory compliance and permitting has enabled IGES to develop a compliance audit process that is thorough, yet efficient and balanced.
Our staff of professionals have completed hundreds of environmnetal compliance and due diligence assessments, identifying situations where potential environmental violations could be incurred, but were avoided through identification and a plan of action. Our team’s primary objective is to assist each facility in maintaing an environmentally compliant operation by providing the necessary tools and information required to successful implement their environmental programs.
Our team of specialists has participated in numerous due diligence assessments for major industrial, state, and mining property acquisitions and transfers. In addition our team has provided general environmental, pollution prevention, and ISO14001 training for the past 10 years for various companies. The training provided has been in support of facility regulatory and voluntary environmental programs.
Our other specialties include a history of permit preparation, waste characterization, and pollution prevention strategies. Our State and Federal governmental regulatory program experience includes:
- Subtitle D landfills
- Hazardous waste (HW) characterization and documentation of HW management
- Stormwater discharge permits and stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPP)
- Aquifer protection permits
- Point source discharge permits and other Clean Water Act programs, such as spill prevention, control and countermeasure (SPCC) plans
